Welcome to Grade 6D's Egypt Web Project (1998). We are the scribes who live in the town of 6D in the virtual land of SMS Egypt. We have had a very busy year learning about Egypt and much, much more and look forward to guiding you through our clay tablets of digital heiroglyphics. Our pharoah is Ms. Dykes and she is a cool teacher. Her advisor, Ms. Kirkpatrick, assisted us in this project by teaching us about land forms, climate and vegetation and how it affected what the Ancient Egyptians did and how they lived.
We live in a small village outside of the Great Pyramid of Knowledge, which we built for Pharoah Dykes. The picture below shows you what our village and the pyramid look like. The three buildings at the left are our houses and the fancy one on the right is the home of the Grand Priest Clayton (he sort of runs things around here). You can see our temple behind our houses - it is not finished quite yet, but we are working on it. We hope to have the roof up before too long. The large structure in the background is our Great Pyramid of Knowledge. It is a cool place where you can learn lots of things. Please select a topic from the list at the left to look inside our pyramid. To get back here select "Pharoah Dykes Great Pyramid of Knowledge." Have fun !
