PRESENTATION NOTES:
The TRDEV-L mailing list once had a lively discussion on what was training and what was education (learning).  The trainers in the group felt training was education, the professors felt it was not.  An MIT professor put an end to the discussion when he said “If your 12 year old came home and said they were taking a sex education class tomorrow, you would think nothing of it.  If the same 12 year old said they were taking a sex training class, your reaction would be quite different”.  This quite aptly describes the difference between CBT/WBT and On-line learning.
