Mr. Kushner's Grade 5/6 Web Project

Mr Kushner Japanese Flag

Mr. Kushner's class has been very busy all year, but one project that has evolved into a great experience for all is the Japan Web project. Normally, the students prepare written reports on a topic related to Japan and present this in the class. This year, thanks to help from a parent and university professor, Dr. Potter, the class has taken this project to the world. Each child typed her/his projects on a word processor and Dr. Potter taught the class how to turn the work into Hypertext Markup Language (HTML - the language of the Web).

The project has been a learning experience for everyone. We have struggled with out-dated hardware, compatibility problems between the school and home hardware, and a host of little problems that comes with technology. However, everyone has remained enthusiastic and has worked hard. We hope you will enjoy our projects and look forward to hearing from you.

If you would like to send us your comments, just drop Mr. Kushner a letter, or send a note to the class:

If you proceed beyond this point
you may learn something new (we hope you do).
